CEUCE PARTNERS WITH CITY CLUB

The Colorado European Union Center of Excellence (CEUCE) and the Highland City Club of Boulder (City Club) are pleased to announce an alliance to extend to the Boulder community an extensive array of speaking and outreach programs on a wide spectrum of international topics.

The mission of CEUCE at the University of Colorado is to promote an understanding of the European Union (EU) and to foster an appreciation of transatlantic relations through a whole host of teaching, research and outreach programs. City Club has become a recognized forum for intellectual, cultural, and social events.

CEUCE and City Club have collaborated in the past with some recent speakers including Dr. Klaus Scharioth, Former Ambassador of Germany to the United States; Enrique Baron Crespo, former President of the European Parliament, and Ambassador João Vale de Almeida, Head of Delegation in Washington, D.C. Our partnership formalizes this collaboration in anticipation of an even greater depth of private and public events. Stated Felicia Naranjo Martinez, Associate Director of CEUCE, "We are so pleased to partner with City Club as we expand our outreach programs. City Club provides us with not only an elegant facility but with an organization likewise dedicated to the furtherance of knowledge and understanding."
