“Ideals are like stars: you will not succeed in touching them with your hands. But like the seafaring man on the desert of waters, you choose them as your guides, and following them you will reach your destiny.”
Carl Schurz
Programs
City Club offers frequent and regularly scheduled social, educational, cultural and civic programs. Members and their guests are welcome to have lunch at the club every weekday in private, join the community table, or attend an Affinity Circles such as the Writer's Table, Health & Spirit, or the Investment Circle. Some lunches are purely social, always accompanied by interesting, friendly and diverse conversation. Community dinners celebrating a holiday or focusing on special interests are offered regularly. Happy Hours starting every Friday at 5:30 pm are a club tradition and a wonderful way to relax with friends at the end of the week and to make plans for the weekend. City Club facilitates group activities and club-wide programs designed by members for members with common interests. Members are encouraged to create Affinity Circles that reflect their passions. City Club's active, diverse and engaging programs calendar is a direct reflection of the enthusiasm and participation of our passionate and caring members.
To schedule a private event, contact Matthew Smith. To propose a public event, contact Kathrine Ann Webster. Matt and Kathrine Ann can be reached at 303.443.4430.
