Spirit of The Place-Photographs by Charles Steinberg, M.D.

After a career as a practicing physician for 30 years, and working as an HIV/ AIDS physician in Colorado for 2 decades, Charles Steinberg left his office and began consulting and training other health care providers in Africa and Asia. As a professional photographer this has given him exceptional opportunities to experience remarkable people, places and creatures, and to create images that capture the spirit of the place. On view in the gallery are images of the people and wild creatures Charles met while working in Mother Africa and in Myanmar (Burma) where he has worked for the last two years.

The photographs of Charles Steinberg will be in gallery until mid-June. There will be a reception for the artist at the gallery on May 18 from 5-7 pm.
